Flavour Profile
A clear, uplifting floral fragrance unfolds as the long, naturally curled leaves infuse. The liquor is bright and clear, honey-green with golden hues, offering a fresh, lively taste with a smooth, rounded texture.

Gentle sweetness develops across the palate, leaving the mouth refreshed and a lingering floral aroma after each sip. Lightly fermented and unroasted, our Pouchong combines the freshness of green tea with the rounded character of a lightly fermented oolong.

Terroir
Our Pouchong tea garden is situated in PingLin at approximately 500 metres above sea level. The region receives around 3,000–6,000 mm of rainfall annually and has an average temperature of approximately 20°C. Its cool, humid climate and frequent mountain mists provide favourable conditions for growing tea.

Understanding Our Grades
Our grading considers both the selection of fresh tea leaves and the quality of the finished tea.

Competition Grade: Made from tea leaves picked around midday, when their moisture content is generally lower, providing favourable conditions for tea processing. The finished tea must also meet our internal quality standards through tasting and evaluation before it is selected as Competition Grade.

Premium Grade: May be made from tea leaves picked at different times of day. Tea made from midday-picked leaves may also be classified as Premium Grade if the finished tea does not meet our Competition Grade standards.

Midday picking alone does not determine the grade; the final selection also depends on our evaluation of the finished tea.
